Food & Thought was established by Frank Oakes. His passion was not only to provide organic food but also to create a place where people could learn about organic farming and sustainability. As a result, Food & Thought is an organic grocery store, cafe, juice bar, and clothing store. More than a store, it’s a lifestyle.

Here at Food & Thought we enjoy a close-knit and welcoming community of like-minded people. Our lovely courtyard is filled with opportunities for peaceful nourishment and intelligent conversation, connected with a cafe and grocery store filled to the brim with 100% certified organic food, clothing, and eco-friendly household products.

To promote the need to live in accord with the dictates of nature. To demonstrate by our own practices and products how absurd the notion that chemicals and toxins are necessary to grow our food or that drugs are necessary to maintain health.

Organic Farm

Food & Thought has our very own 15-acre farm in Collier County

Over 60 types of fruits, vegetables, and herbs are grown on our organic farm. We use organic growing methods, free from chemical pesticides and GMO's. Not only is this beautiful product sold at our store, it’s also used in our cafe and juice bar to offer you the freshest, most nutritious food possible.
